Source: PRWeb Web design and technology expert Siteworx has completed development of a model for small- to medium-sized associations to make their online presence more functional, the company announced today at the annual meeting of the American Society of Association Executives. Built with Siteworx’s Axiom content management system (CMS), the model enables associations to handle many common responsibilities, such as knowledge transfer, publishing news and meeting information, and e-commerce with member-based pricing. At the same time, it provides capabilities for tailoring Web-based member services, including legislative or regulatory activities, and affinity program marketing.
“Until now many small and mid-sized associations had to endure a suboptimal homegrown system, or deploy a large CMS that cost a lot and had more capability than they needed -- the equivalent of using a bus to transport one person,” comments Jeff Ellsworth, vice president of sales and marketing at Siteworx. “With our Axiom-based model, associations at this level now have access to a system that is easily configured to their membership, Web site, and event-based needs with a low total cost of ownership.” About Siteworx Siteworx (www.siteworx.com) is a design, integration and Web applications company that achieves award-winning results for clients including AOL, NAFSA: The Association of International Educators, the American Association of Retired Persons, and the Alliance for Non-Profit Management. Siteworx helps companies communicate powerfully by creating a satisfying user experience through attractive design, streamlined information architecture, and easy-to-manage technology that integrates with online and offline business applications. |
